La Porta is a new, authentic Italian restaurant in the small waterfront town, Northport, on Long Island, NY. For La Porta, I have created digital and print ads that appeal better to the town demographics and portray the new elevated feel the restaurant is achieving after their renovation. Having grown up in the town, I was able to create a comprehensive understanding of the local demographic and how to best appeal to the customers they serve. The restaurant was previously a dine-and-go pizza joint, therefore I worked to create ads that would showcase the new features of their upscale dining experience without alienating the more traditional locals.
I have begun the process of working on a new set of menus that will include a dinner menu, cocktail menu, happy hour menu, dessert menu, and to-go style menus.
